Sometimes I spend an evening digging through YouTube for music-related stuff. This often results in a day(s) worth of documentary binge watching list. Music is interesting, people behind the music even more interesting.
Documentary: The Godmother of Rock'n'Roll (Sister Rosetta Tharpe)
It is the word and song in the name of God, and an almost fearless woman that brought Rock'n'Roll to us. The statement that Blues is the root and the rest the fruit also applies here.
