Band van twee man (en sessie drummer) uit Singapore.
Thuisstudio werk! YouTube description citaat:
Recorded and mixed in a home studio in July and August 2026.
All songs composed, arranged, and performed by Dozethrone.
Dozethrone’s Azmi Czar performed all guitar parts on this album using a Jackson Kelly guitar.
Dozethrone’s Izhar Ashburn performed all bass parts on this album using an Ibanez Talman bass.
All drum parts were recorded using Ludwig drum shells, Goedrum mesh heads, Jobeky triggers, Roland cymbal pads and Roland TD-11 drum module. Drum duties across the three tracks were handled by Azmi Czar, Izhar Ashburn, and a session drummer.
Other gear used in the recording of this album includes a Focusrite audio interface, a Caline Wine Cellar Bass DI, a Zoom MS-G50+ pedal, a Mosky power supply unit, Audio-Technica ATH-M20x headphones, Jim Dunlop guitar picks, ESP bass picks, Tama drum sticks, Tama Iron Cobra pedals, Samsung Galaxy mobile phones, Uniqlo geared pants, GU shirts, Asics shoes, Pocky chocolate sticks, Nutrisoy soya bean drink, Zojirushi water bottles, and plenty of teh halia and roti prata from the nearby mamak stall.
No petrol or diesel fuel was used for our commutes during these recording sessions; all travel was done by bicycle, MRT train or electric vehicle. We are not environmental activists, but we’re just putting this here to point out that the everyday things we do almost subconsciously are probably doing more for the planet — and the whole universe — than all the shouting by eco-activists in the streets.
We did use air-conditioning when standing fans could no longer provide sufficient relief — but when you live on the equator, where daily humidity can easily exceed 90%, that’s hardly an indulgence.
Based on Elna Borch’s 1905 sculpture, “Death and the Maiden”, the cover art is a derivative parody created by Mak Kau Punya Laki. Unlike the original statue, Mak Kau Punya Laki made sure the maiden is modestly covered for this rendition.
